Lipsticks to Toss | Downsizing

Sometimes, you get a product that just doesn’t work out. I’m working on downsizing my collection, and here are some lip products that just cannot possibly make the cut for one reason or another.

City Color Creamy Lip Stain $4.99

I really like the color of this, but it smells like burnt plastic, so I find myself gagging every time I try to wear it.

Teeez Read My Lips Lipstick in Killing Me Softly $22

This is just a hot mess. It’s cakey, waxy, and the color is frankly awful. I don’t know why I’ve held on to it for so long. Do not recommend.

OCC Stained Gloss in Hush $18

I actually like the OCC glosses, but this is a terrible color. It might work on someone with a different skin tone…although I’m not sure what.

Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in A-Lister $16

Where do I start? Gloopy, thick, not long wearing, and a poor color.

Mai Couture Social Gloss in G’vinity $25

This makes my lip look crusty and gray. L

In good news, I’m feeling good about my downsizing. It’s a good thing, and I need to get rid of the things that aren’t making me happy anymore.
