Post-Holiday Travel Makeup Bag

I am super excited to be home from Christmas and things are starting to slow down a little. But, in usual form, a new year also means being on the move more than ever! I was recently updating my makeup bag and thought I’d share! In the winter, I switch to a super skincare-heavy routine because my skin is dry in normal weather, but downright unbearable during the colder weather.

I’m using a new makeup bag from a brand called Belanko. It’s a cutesy lemon print, which is what drew me to it. It has a removable brush compartment, and fits everything and then some. It can even hold my shampoo and conditioner bottles (full size)! I also spilled some foundation into it, and it was way easy to clean, which is always a plus.

Inside the bag, like I mentioned, I am really pro skincare more than anything else. Flights, long drives…I feel like my skin is a bucket of a misery every time. The products I use to fix that are:

  • Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die For Primer

  • Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser

  • Soap and Glory Night and Flight Moisturizer

  • Laneige Sleeping Lip Mask

  • Grown Alchemy Hydrarepair Day Cream

Also in this shot is the La Mer daily repair cream, but I’m just testing it. Haven’t decided I love it yet!

For makeup, in the bag are my every day, tried and true winners. These are the products that I swear by on a daily basis.

  • Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara (not regular)

  • Hourglass Caution Mascara

  • Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Meringue

  • Ofra Glow Highlighter (for eyeshadows!)

  • Juvia’s Place Mini Nubian Palette

  • Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Entertain

  • Benefit Hoola Bronzer

  • Benefit Gimme Brow

And that’s it! I’m heading out for some more travel this month (long weekend here we goooo), and that’s what is going to be tagging around with me for all those trips!
