Walmart Beauty Box | Summer 2015
I wasn’t expecting my
Walmart Beauty Box to arrive so fast. My last one was only last month, and they’re
supposed to come every season. I think I must have ordered right at the end of
the spring season, and so this one came as soon as summer officially started.
Either way, color me impressed.
Nivea Soft Nourishing Crème (23g)
This little flat pot of hand crème is perfect for tucking in my bag to moisturize my hands at the office or when I’m out of town. It also feels amazing. I feel like I have been convinced to look into the full size.
Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara (4.5g)
I’ve never used Neutrogena cosmetics. Skincare, yes. Cosmetics? Never. This has changed my mind a little. This is not going to be my Holy Grail mascara. Not even close. But this is still pretty nice. If you’re looking for something natural that lasts for a full day. It’s great for every day.
Clear Scalp and Hair Therapy Shampoo (50mL)
I’m not a fan of this. The Clear line never did anything for me, and I also don’t have dandruff, so there’s not really a need for me to use it.
You and I Perfume Sample
Nope. I don’t like receiving perfume samples, and I don’t like this one in the slightest. Sorry 1D.
Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen
Can’t have enough sunscreen! All of the sunscreen samples go into my outdoor bag for later.
Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in Gladiolus
So pretty! I love the Revlon Ultra HD lipsticks to start with, and this one is a gorgeous deep red color. I can see myself getting a ton of use out of this. I'm also wearing it in this photo.
Even more sunscreen! Once again, can’t complain.
John Frieda BeachBlonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray (30mL)
I don’t really have problems with texture. My hair has a ton of texture, so I’m not sure when this will get used. It’s probably going to get passed on to a friend.
Packet Samples:
Ken Paves Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner
I was not a fan of this in last month’s box, and I think it’s icky now too. It makes my hair kind of sticky and matted. Not so much a fan.
Jergen’s Natural Glow
I already use this, and like it, so I cannot complain about this either.
This box is a whopping
$5, and the lipstick alone makes it totally worth it. You have impressed me,
Walmart.
