Essence forget it! 3-in-1 Concealer

I mentioned a while ago that I had been using some Essence products, which is essentially Germany’s answer to ELF. Well, today I have another of their fabulous products that I’ve been using!
Presenting the Essence forget it! 3-in-1 concealer. It has three shades, a pink, a green, and a sort of flesh toned one. If you’re not familiar with the concept of using a color wheel to hide your blemishes, it has a great little guide on the back of the package. The green is for redness, pink covers purple (like dark eye circles), and the skin-toned one is for more like hiding freckles and general other blemishes.

This is the packaging! Note the laptop background.

I’ve been using this for the last week or so, and I’ve definitely noticed some things about it. It covers really well, but it is a very thin product, so you have to put a lot on at once for it to cover up something like a pimple or a dark circle. That’s okay though because it blends out really, really well, so it’s not such a big deal. As kind of a downside, it’s really oily. Like really, really oily. It hasn’t broken me out, but it definitely must be set with a powder, or it will slick right off. At the same time though, it’s only $2, so I didn’t have hopes for a really really stellar products.

These are the three colours you get to work with.
I use the pink tone on my dark circles, and it helps a ton, and the greenish tone has also been great, but I don’t really have any use for the fleshy one. I’m not really sure what I would do with it. Oh well. Overall, pretty good product. Lasts all day (if it’s set properly) and definitely cost effective. I’d give it a 6/10.
