Holiday Gift Guide - For Him
It’s the holiday season which means it’s time for gift guides! Ready to throw out my first one, and I’m very excited about it.
I’m going to be the most honest I can be here…shopping for my husband is the worst. Well, he was just my boyfriend until a couple of months ago, and he was still bad to shop for then. Part of it is that he is a buyer. If he wants something, he’ll just get it himself. Holidays are a weird time because of that, so I definitely try to take this opportunity to pick up the items that are either unique or that he wouldn’t treat himself to. Here we go.
Indochino Custom Made Outerwear
Indochino. I don’t know what to say about them. We got our wedding suits there. It’s beautiful and they are made to measure at a great price. And they do outerwear! Cashmere and merino wool made to your measurements and specifications for a perfect fit and a gorgeous shape. They’re not cheap, but they’ll work for years and look great.
World Coffee Sampler
Coffee snobs unite. This pack has four coffee beans in varying roasts and countries of origin, so you can decide what you like. Time to become a real coffee connoisseur, without breaking the bank.
Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Moisturizer
I wrote a long article about getting your man to use skincare. If this didn’t work, this is a great time for a baby step. I’ve used this moisturizer and it’s fantastic, but it also isn’t lady-like enough to chase your guy away if he’s already feeling skittish about the beauty community.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 90
This camera looks beautiful, but it’s also functional. For the budding photographer, this camera will make shots a snap, and encourage more spontaneous, fun photos. There’s something special about ditching the phone camera and using good old fashioned film.
Brooklyn Brew Shop Chocolate Maple Porter Beer Making Kit
Charles likes to make things, and he likes porter. I like the idea of getting to see the literal fruits of his labors. It will also give you something to look forward to sharing after a few weeks, not just on Christmas morning.
Patagonia Lightweight Better Sweater
Snap up, easily worn jacket. It’s easy and no problems. Charles isn’t shy about complaining about how cold he is, but in case your guy likes to keep a stiff upper lip, he’ll still love to slide this on. Chilly nights are coming up!
Sprezza Box Subscription
For a more adventurous style-savvy guy, this is a great opportunity. Sprezza sends a box every month of curated items. There are socks, ties, cufflinks…lots of little things. If he’s a suit wearer who likes to switch up his accessories, this will help jazz things up easily.
Red Wing Men’s Blacksmith Boot
I love my Red Wings. They’re an investment, but they are so worth it. These are dress-up or dress-down and will last a lifetime. They are also still owned by a small-town Minnesota family, and proudly made in the USA.
Happy shopping!
