Quick and Easy Ways to Burn 100 Calories!

I’ll be the first to admit that life gets away from me sometimes. This week especially has been difficult. For those of us who are (or once were) students, the memory of that one week where everything is due can still strike total terror in our hearts. Well, this was that week.

I tend to be pretty busy in general, between work, school, trying to maintain a social life, blogging, and having an energetic dog. It gets to be overwhelming, and sometimes, eating right and exercising gets thrown to the wayside. It’s much easier to drive through the McDonalds on my way home than it is to make a salad.

But is it?

It’s easy to see health as an all-or-nothing choice, but it’s not really. For the most part, it's small changes. .

I’ve teamed up with Chobani to talk about great ways to burn 100 calories. That’s not so hard right? The infographic is below. My favorites are shopping for 38 minutes (Yay!) and 20 minutes of dancing around the kitchen. Those seem like things I can get into.

Chobani’s Greek yogurt has been a big part of my diet and morning routine. It’s quick and easy to grab one of the single-serving packs and shove it in my purse to eat during class or during my ten minute slump. I recently tried their new Chobani Simply 100 Crunch, and it’s pretty great. It’s only 100 calories, so you can burn it off with that 20 minutes of kitchen dancing, and it’s delicious. Since moving towards a healthy lifestyle, granola has been pretty much cut out because it’s so high in sugar and calories.

But I miss it. Granola is delicious and crunchy and wonderful.

These little packs have some granola! And it’s in awesome dessert-inspired flavors. Crunch, but no calories? Yes. These are a little scant. At just over 4.2 ounces, I wouldn’t consider this a full breakfast, but it’s really good for when you want a sweet snack fast.

My favorite flavor is Mango Cone, and it’s great. These are also on sale at $5 for 4 at my local grocery, and there’s a coupon for $1 off here. If you’re tired of the low calorie options out there, give this a try. It’s tasty, and makes it easy to pretend you’re eating a delicious dessert instead of 100 calories of yogurt.

What are your favorite ways to burn 100 calories? I’m always looking for great new ideas!
