Glossybox | November 2015

It’s that time again! The November Glossybox has arrived! I’m totally in love with it, so let’s go straight into the products. If you want to see me talk about it, there’s also my review video linked here:

Flora.py Floral Therapy Facial Sheet Sweet Dreams Mask

Combing ultimate hydration and aromatherapy, each mask is soaked in powerful flower ingredients and essential oils. From anti-aging to detox, Flora.py creates an at-home spa experience of every skincare need in under 20 minutes.

Glossybox is sending out different masks, so you might not get this one, but mine is the Sweet Dreams version. IT’s got lavender and smells delightfully floral. Unfortunately, the moisturizing effects didn’t last as long as I would like. In terms of getting me ready for sweet dreams, I think it was more about the ritual of doing the mask then going to bed, not the lavender. Either way, hit and miss on this one, but it might be better if you have skin that’s more oily-to-combination instead of straight up dry.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy

Brimming with nourishing ingredients macadamia nut oil, seaweed and algae extracts, and vitamin E, this intensive cream rejuvenates the skin in innumerable ways. Keep those beautiful hands healthy and hydrated without mineral oil, parabens or sulfates.

I love this hand cream. It is thick and glorious and makes my hands feel amazing. I’ve been wearing it every day, and it will be coming with me during my many many travels this month. The downside to this is that it smells like really bad flowers. The good news is that the smell does go away, but it’s pretty icky for those few minutes, at least to me.

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Cream

Embracing the fall with youthful-looking skin is just a step away with Estee Lauder’s cult-favorite daily moisturizer. Curb the first signs of aging fine lines, dullness and hydration with breakthrough Intuigen Technology that helps reactivate skin’s own revitalization.

I really love this. Like the hand cream, it’s super thick and luxurious. I don’t know so much about  the  antiaging just yet, but it’s really great for moisturizing and it is making my skin look better. Again, so much travelling happening, and this will be coming with me.

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in You’re Toast

Featuring a creamy texture and a golden, sand-swept tone, this highly pigmented eyeshadow blends seamlessly, allowing you to create endless eye looks. Flattering to every complexion, You’re Toast warms up the face and brightens the eye area.

This is fantastic. I’m not really into loose shadows, but I’m willing to make an exception for this one. I hate the packaging, but if you can get to the shadow, it’s gorgeously pigmented, and has much better pigmentation than I was expecting. It’s not too yellow, which I think is something a lot of gold shadows struggle with. It really is the perfect true gold. This is going to work really well for me through the fall and winter, as well as beyond.

Beauty for Real D-Fine Perfect Lip Pencil

Looking for a way to naturally define the shape of your lips? The search is over! Beauty For Real has created a flesh-tone lip liner that enhances your lip size without a trace. Effortlessly paired with any shade of lipstick or gloss, you can finally say hello to that luscious pout you’ve been dreaming about.

I like this a lot, but in a very specific way. This isn’t a great match for my lip color, and pulls quite a bit darker. Since we’re moving into fall, this is excellent for wearing under a lighter lipstick or gloss to darken the color. It does you a great base to make your lipstick long wearing, but it’s only good for that in my opinion. It’s a little off in color to wear on its own for me.

This is perhaps one of my favorite Glossyboxes that I’ve gotten so far. Even the things that were kind of a miss for me weren’t bad at all. The value of this box was also $58.50 which is amazing for the price! Once again, totally impressed.
