Date Night Five Product Face (Drugstore!)
I have another Face of the Day for you. Tonight is date night, and as such, I wanted to up my game a little bit from my usual natural look to something a little more dramatic.
So, let's get started.
First, take your black eyeshadow. I used Shimmering Onyx by Covergirl because it has a subtle shimmer. Pack that all over the lid, and then wing it out if you like that winged look. We won't be using eyeliner, so this is a great way to make this dramatic.
Now, if you have undereye bags like I do, just sweep that black shadow under the eye generously. You don't need concealer if you cover up those bags with a smokey eye!
Next, we need to brighten up the eye a little after all that dark. I used Covergirl's Snow Blossom on my browbone to bring some light into this. Don't worry about blending, because you want it to stand out.
Next I did my foundation like normal with L'Oreal Lumi Foundation. I wanted a thicker coverage for nighttime, so again, don't worry too much about the blending.
After all that drama on the eye, we need to highlight. The best highlight in my opinion is a white eye pencil. Just put that on your nose and cheekbones. It looks more natural if you just make a stripe of it so that you can see it even when the light isn't reflecting off your face.
Finally, lips. I used Markwin's I Should Have Kissed You, which
glows under UV light! How cool is that!? I picked this color because I wanted a bright pop to finish off the look. Put it on generously because some of it will probably come off while you're eating or kissing or something, so put on a few layers and don't blot it or it won't stay as long!
So there you go. You're dressed to impress!
