Blogmas #19: Nails Inc Fall/Winter
I saw this great nail set in my local Sephora, and I thought that it would be a great gift for my roommate, Beth. So I picked it up. And then another of my friends and I got together for our gift exchange and she had gotten me the exact same one. Excellent.
The nail set in question in Nails Inc’s Fall/Winter Sampler. It retails for $25 dollars, but I don’t feel bad saying that I did not pay that much for it, and I doubt that she did either.
The set has six minis that are all appropriate for the colder seasons, but I think that some of them will transition to Spring really well.
The six colours are:
Bruton Mews – a deep green that looks almost black
Bruton Mews – a deep green that looks almost black
Sloane Gardens – a navy glitter polish, not opaque after two coats
Chelsea Bridge Road – a pinky tomato red
Chelsea Bridge Road – a pinky tomato red
Left to Right: Bruton Mews, Sloane Gardens, Chelsea Bridge Road |
Richmond Terrace – plum-purple-brown
Chester Street – pearly taupe
Jermyn Street – more of a brown taupe
I think my favourite is Chester Street, because it seems the most versatile, but a bright red is never out of place during the holidays, or any time. I like them all though, and a couple found their way into my travel bag for over the holidays!
In today’s advent calendar box, there is Girl Meets Pearl Luminizer, which I guess is a spiffy word for highlighter.
Again, I’m not sure about when each highlighter is better suited. This one is definitely more pink, although it’s still in the gold-tone family. It comes out like liquid glitter that you can then spread across your skin. Sounds great, doesn't it?
Do you switch up your nails for the season?
